The second of a batch of four identical Second Class Brake Vans (109 -112) constructed by the Ipswich Railway Workshops between September and December 1885, to drawing 680. 110 entered service during November 1885. In December 1939 it was altered to its present appearance (Drawing SC415A) and continued in service until written off books in March 1982.
